Borderlands

An on-going photo project documenting the agricultural and farming Landscape of North Wales & Shropshire.

My grandparents owned a farm in North Wales for much of my early childhood. I have fond memories of visiting the farm as a child, helping my grandfather (Taid) tend to the sheep, or pretending to drive the tractor.

My grandparents are no longer with us so this project, whilst personal and connects me to my roots, it also speaks to the hard-times and uncertainty that the farming industry has faced in the UK over the last few years. Farming is an integral part of the fabric of this country - we’d be lost without it.
